🔍 When is it ripe?
Green outer husk splits and darkens; nuts fall or shake loose. Remove husks immediately and cure for 2 weeks to develop full flavour. Gloves prevent staining.
Very large tree. Nuts fall into parking lot of funeral home and occasionally on to the road. They are cleaned up quite regularly.
