🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep blue-purple with a silvery bloom; stem scar (not stem) at the top. Taste is the best test — a truly ripe blueberry is sweet and has no pink flesh inside. Let the cluster go fully blue before picking the whole thing.
Seems like just one blueberry plant in this little region, with four fat, ripe berries and bare any green ones. Go to the south side of the pond trail and the sandy beach area for many, many more blueberries.
