🔍 When is it ripe?
Blue-black berries in flat clusters; cook before eating. Ripe when uniformly dark blue-black and heavy. Also note: elderflowers in June are edible raw and excellent for cordial.
North side of derby roadway, just east of bridge. 1-2 plants.
