🔍 When is it ripe?
Golden-orange colour all over; red blush is fine but green means unripe. Gives slightly under thumb pressure and separates cleanly from the pit. Sweet, floral aroma. Short window — harvest daily once they start colouring.
Tiny yard next to the building. There's a chain link gate accessible from the sidewalk. Technically it's private property, but I rent an apartment here so I give permission? Idk, just be quiet and you'll be fine. The tree is absolutely dripping with fruit.
