🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red (or gold/yellow for golden varieties) and slides off the receptacle — the hollow centre is the tell. Does not pull: a ripe raspberry separates at a touch. Extremely fragile; use within hours of picking.
Golden raspberries (albino-like variants of red or black raspberries). These babies are RARE. The birds don't eat them, unlike red and black raspberries... so more for us!
