🔍 When is it ripe?
Must be fully ripe (very soft, almost jelly-like) before eating. Harvest after first frost or when naturally falling. Dark orange to purple when ready. Rich, caramel-sweet flavour.
Tree bearing small persimmons at the beginning of the tree line and adjacent to the utility pole.
Deeper into the trees is private property but this tree is in public right of way.
