🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep purple-black, duller than blackberries. Separates from the hollow core like a red raspberry. Richer, more intense flavour than red raspberry. Short season — harvest daily.
Along the strip of woodlands here, on the side of 2nd Street W. Some plants are farther back into the woods, but some can be accessed from the edge.
