🔍 When is it ripe?
Small apples ripen from green to red, yellow, or orange by variety. Very tart raw but excellent for jelly and cider. Ripe when the colour is fully developed and the fruit lifts off with a gentle twist.
not sure what kind- red and waxy, tart but with a lovely sweet appley flavour. white flesh. SO good for jelly and apple butter and stuff, and honestly just delicious if you like tart apples.
Some reachable, but bring a step stool or ladder (and a spotter)!
