🔍 When is it ripe?
Red to yellow, about 2 cm across. Tart-sweet when ripe; flesh softens and the fruit falls readily. Good raw or cooked. Watch for early drop — often ready by mid-August.
3 mid-size plum trees along the water. Just starting to fruit and should be ready soon. There are also 3 on the other side of the pond. Should yeild great fruit, hopefully we can get to them before the squirrels do!
