🔍 When is it ripe?
Ripe when fully coloured (white, red, or black by species) and falls at a touch. Spread a sheet and shake the branches. Extremely perishable — process or eat immediately.
Incredible berry harvest, some of which is semi-high up. Shake a branch and watch which ones just fell for pickings of those higher up. You'll know the season just by looking at the ground.
