🔍 When is it ripe?
Berries fully coloured and slightly soft. Stem where it joins the bunch turns woody and brown. Seeds easily visible inside. Sweet throughout when fully ripe — taste from different parts of the cluster as they ripen unevenly. Grapes do not continue ripening after harvest.
Couple of grape vines located near some black raspberries. They can be located near the ground or climbing up tree.
Make sure to check that they are not virginia creepers (5 leafs) or moonseed (smooth leafs). If you're not sure please don't eat them.
The wild grapes have tendrils and jagged leafs.
