🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep black and pulls free with zero resistance. Juicy and sweet; no red remaining at the core. Harvest in the morning when cool.
The whole walk around the lake has blackberries everywhere. Just watch out for areas that have been sprayed. It’s council maintained so if they have there’ll be a sign. (And the spray is usually a bright colour)
