🔍 When is it ripe?
Small, bright red haws that persist into winter. Ripe when deep red; tart and mealy but good for jelly. Often best after frost.
delicious wild black cherries ripen early-mid august! all along the fence at the bottom left compared to the cemetery entrance, near federal st and mountfort st. Added August 12th, 2020 - Oregon Crabapple and Washington Hawthorn trees fruiting near the center of the cemetery. Not ripe yet. Also Redbud.
