Fragrant white-yellow flowers in June–July. Harvest when open for linden tea. Very fragrant; also used for honey production.
There are Basswood/Linden trees all down the street of Summit Avenue! Just thought I'd share. The first Spring leaves/buds are completely edible and taste like popcorn. Plenty to go round, they are planted all down Summit Avenue! Make sure to ID first.
