🔍 When is it ripe?
Small apples ripen from green to red, yellow, or orange by variety. Very tart raw but excellent for jelly and cider. Ripe when the colour is fully developed and the fruit lifts off with a gentle twist.
Tart little apples every year. Tart in a good way, fragrant. Fruits heavily. Great in baking and tbh not bad eaten straight. Right on the corner of the fence of the cemetery. Not sure if public or private but it is on a cemetery so please as always be respectful and don't leave trash.
