🔍 When is it ripe?
Bright red olive-shaped berries. Very sour when first red — wait until they turn deep red and fall freely or can be shaken off. High in vitamin C. Good for jam, wine, and sauce.
Between the parking lot and Clark St. Two bushes, one produced well the other not at all in the drought of 2012.
