🔍 When is it ripe?
Must be fully ripe (very soft, almost jelly-like) before eating. Harvest after first frost or when naturally falling. Dark orange to purple when ready. Rich, caramel-sweet flavour.
Two trees on the edge of the highway median right where the on-ramp connects. Can be accessed from the on ramp or through the woods from the parking lot on the other side.
