🔍 When is it ripe?
Classic Bartlett: skin turns yellow-green from green. Harvest when the neck near the stem gives to light pressure. Ripens off the tree in 4–7 days at room temperature.
Large pear tree. we parked at the church and walked over. It's a very tall tree. We took a ladder to help reach the higher pears. Pick unripe then ripen in basement....takes a couple weeks.
