🔍 When is it ripe?
Prune plum: Dark blue-purple with a silvery bloom. Sweet and dense when ripe; separates from the stone cleanly. Can be left on the tree to partially dry for natural prunes.
Raspberry: Deep red (or gold/yellow for golden varieties) and slides off the receptacle — the hollow centre is the tell. Does not pull: a ripe raspberry separates at a touch. Extremely fragile; use within hours of picking.
Plum tree, not damson, orange fruit ripening to red. Also a few raspberry canes opposite
