🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red to purple-black when fully ripe. Falls naturally. Tart-sweet flavour. Spread cloth below and shake. Stains permanently.
Large healthy mulberry bush at entrance to east parking lot on South Bronough, just south of the volleyball court. Tons of ripe berries at mid-April. Unusual because the squirrels didn't get to them first.
