🔍 When is it ripe?
Yellow, fragrant, and very hard when ripe — not soft like apples. Look for a deep golden-yellow colour and a strong quince aroma. Inedible raw (very astringent); excellent for jam, paste, and jelly after cooking.
When you enter the campus by the gate (rue de compostelle) turn left and pass by the reception stand. Continue walking and look at your right after the little house, you will see the quince tree.
