🔍 When is it ripe?
Fully black (not red or dark red) and comes off the stem with no resistance — zero pull. Dull rather than shiny; a shiny black berry is still slightly underripe and tart. Eat the same day for best flavour.
Lots of wild black berries on the right side of the stairs when heading up the stairs! They’re on the side of the hill so they’re hard to reach but there’s a ton of them
