🔍 When is it ripe?
Classic Bartlett: skin turns yellow-green from green. Harvest when the neck near the stem gives to light pressure. Ripens off the tree in 4–7 days at room temperature.
Three or four pear trees here on the Phantom Trail. Lots of fruit in the fall. It's a nature preserve so be mindful.
