🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep orange-gold; eaten whole — the sweet rind offsets the tart flesh. Ripe when uniformly orange, slightly soft, and very fragrant. The entire fruit is edible raw.
several kumquat trees planted behind Pick Up Stix, Subway, Starbucks, etc. Trees are planted by the building adjacent to the main parking lot customers use when they patronize the businesses. Is private property, but the public are expected to be there when going to the businesses. I picked some in December. Lots to pick.
