🔍 When is it ripe?
Background colour changes from green to yellow or cream (variety determines final colour). Seeds inside should be brown. Flesh yields slightly to thumb pressure. A ripe apple releases with a gentle upward twist — no pulling. Check the ground for natural drops.
There's a couple green apple trees here. It would be polite to ask the home owners, before you snag some, but if you just get one they probably wont notice. The apples are tart and green.
