🔍 When is it ripe?
Colour fully develops (purple, red, or yellow by variety) and a waxy bloom appears on the skin. Softens slightly at the tip. Taste-test for sweetness — European plums are better slightly soft; Japanese types can be harvested firmer.
1 green-leaved plum tree. Plums are 1.5 inch in diameter. The darker the purple color, the more ripe it is. Has some reachable fruit since tree grows inside fence but leave branch over (also it's a chainlink fence, so easier to reach in). Skin is sour and some fruit have rough skin.
