Sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Rainier')

There are 2 or 3 Rainier Cherry trees in the fruit tree cluster along the fence line of the youth farm. There are little signs on them to encourage fruit picking. These cherries are really sweet and were perfect in early June. Trees are on public park land, rumored to be donated by the Obamas through fruit tree foundation -- free for all to enjoy!
