🔍 When is it ripe?
Small, round, turning from red to deep purple-black. Sweet and blueberry-like when fully dark. Birds eat them as soon as they ripen — check daily. Best fresh or in pies and jam.
23 Serviceberry trees planted (1" caliper) on April 13th 2013. Bought at Stanley's Greenhouse. Watered by storm water swale/berm system to accommodate pool backwash in summer months. Planted by Inskip Community Association
