European plum (Prunus domestica 'Victoria')

I'm not certain on the variety, but it looks like possibly a Victoria plum tree, growing on the side of the bypass, by the roundabout. It's on a steep but small bank, so may require you to clamber up, walking stick in hand, and try to get higher into the branches to knock fruit down. Bear in mind potential pollution but they taste fine. Wash well.
