🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red, sticky, wine-flavoured. Ripe when dark red and separates easily from the stem. Good raw or for making wine and jam.
Along both sides of the trail slightly in off the road, primarily before the first major ascent. Further along the trail, before the pond, other wineberries were not yet ripe as of July 5. Two people each ate about 10 small berries each.
