🔍 When is it ripe?
Dark purple-black variety. Ripe when the skin is very dark, fruit droops, and feels soft throughout. Very sweet — harvest promptly as they attract wasps and birds.
Il y a des figues partout sur l’île. Souvent chez des particuliers mais certains laissent les passants en prendre tellement les arbres sont gorgés : à bien demander avant.
