🔍 When is it ripe?
Ripe when fully coloured (white, red, or black by species) and falls at a touch. Spread a sheet and shake the branches. Extremely perishable — process or eat immediately.
On the right-of-way strip. Heavily fruiting, but you'll have to hop up into the tree to get at the fruit, and once there, compete with the squirrels and robins for unblemished berries.
