🔍 When is it ripe?
Flat, dome-shaped, brilliant red berries. Very delicate — falls apart when fully ripe. Eat on the spot; does not travel. Ripe when uniformly red and separates without effort.
Tons of Red Huckleberries scattered all along the Kari's Bog trail. Also some Thimbleberries if you're lucky.
