🔍 When is it ripe?
Small, orange to yellow fruits in large bunches near the base of fronds. Ripe when fully orange and falls freely. Flavour is apricot and pineapple; very high in pectin — excellent jelly. Short window in summer.
5th and Dock. 4 or 5 Pindo palms here, younger than the one on the other side of Dock St. Some may be producing fruit, possibly 2 of them.
