🔍 When is it ripe?
White to pale pink or lavender when ripe. Very sweet and mild. Falls from the tree when ripe — spread a sheet below and shake. Extremely delicate; eat within hours. Ripe berries stain less than black mulberry but deteriorate even faster.
Large pruned white mulberry tree. Very healthy large fruit in quantity. Tree is pruned as it is in a park, so low hanging fruit is hard to come by. Bring a ladder and you could freeze enough fruit to last a while.
