🔍 When is it ripe?
Green in October (oil forming), turning purple-black November–December. Harvest for oil when 50% black; for table olives, pick to match intended colour. Must be cured in brine or lye — extremely bitter raw.
2 big mature trees. Very plump large fruit. On the verge. Ask the owners at no. 68, sometimes they say yes, othertimes they want to harvest for themselves.
