🔍 When is it ripe?
Skin turns from green to yellow-orange starting at the base. Yields to gentle pressure. Sweet, floral aroma develops. Green papaya is eaten as a vegetable (unripe). Ripe fruit has orange flesh and black seeds inside.
Two papaya trees in between the Graduate College of Social Work and the Agnes Arnold Auditorium. We could not find the papaya tree in the Agnes Arnold Hall and wonder if that other marker should have been placed here.
