🔍 When is it ripe?
Must be fully ripe (very soft, almost jelly-like) before eating. Harvest after first frost or when naturally falling. Dark orange to purple when ready. Rich, caramel-sweet flavour.
you will need to walk the trails inside the park, but I saw 3 trees LOADED with fruit last night, one on each of the meadow trails and the other near the playground. They won't be fully ripe until it gets cooler outside.
