🔍 When is it ripe?
Bright red olive-shaped berries. Very sour when first red — wait until they turn deep red and fall freely or can be shaken off. High in vitamin C. Good for jam, wine, and sauce.
Small Cornelian Cherry discovered with small-moderate amounts of fruit in late August of 2018. Appears to be setting many buds for next spring, but pretty much picked out as of 9/5
