🔍 When is it ripe?
Ripe when fully coloured (white, red, or black by species) and falls at a touch. Spread a sheet and shake the branches. Extremely perishable — process or eat immediately.
Mulberries along Horseshoe Lake Perimeter. Easily visible from trails, especially the one among the pines near the tip of the peninsula. Also Black Cherries in the same area.
