🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red (or gold/yellow for golden varieties) and slides off the receptacle — the hollow centre is the tell. Does not pull: a ripe raspberry separates at a touch. Extremely fragile; use within hours of picking.
Redcurrant grows by the fence in the tenement garden and is reachable from the path, the raspberry is actually on the public side of the fence.
The raspberry also has a few fruit in the autumn since it's one of the varieties that do that.
A funny spot because a ton of people pass them by every day, and yet they feel like my private snack source!
