🔍 When is it ripe?
Small apples ripen from green to red, yellow, or orange by variety. Very tart raw but excellent for jelly and cider. Ripe when the colour is fully developed and the fruit lifts off with a gentle twist.
45 Gallant. Knock on the side door and just let me know you'd like some apples and I'll be happy to take you into the back for some. We don't use all of our apples every year so if it'll help someone I'm happy to offer them. We're also working on a garden and will hopefully have some things to offer in 2024.
September 2023: Honeycrisp didn't produce this year. Lots of crabapples.
