🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red (or gold/yellow for golden varieties) and slides off the receptacle — the hollow centre is the tell. Does not pull: a ripe raspberry separates at a touch. Extremely fragile; use within hours of picking.
There are fruit trees and raspberry bushes along the edge of the community garden space towards the treeline. There is also a second row of raspberries on the other edge of the garden space, towards the parking lot and the apartment complex. Fruit is all free to pick, but consult gardeners about other crops.
