🔍 When is it ripe?
Green outer husk splits and darkens; nuts fall or shake loose. Remove husks immediately and cure for 2 weeks to develop full flavour. Gloves prevent staining.
Tree is on private property, but it looks like the nuts may fall on the gas station's side of the fence as well so you might get a few before the squirrels.
