🔍 When is it ripe?
Background colour changes from green to yellow or cream (variety determines final colour). Seeds inside should be brown. Flesh yields slightly to thumb pressure. A ripe apple releases with a gentle upward twist — no pulling. Check the ground for natural drops.
Very heavy laden Apple tree. Fruit is good fresh. So many the branches have broke. The fruit is about 2 1/2 to 3 inches in diameter. It is through the park running next to the water retention creek separating the Kellogg village housing development and the mobile home park. Appears to be an old Apple tree the developers let stay.
