🔍 When is it ripe?
Fully black (not red or dark red) and comes off the stem with no resistance — zero pull. Dull rather than shiny; a shiny black berry is still slightly underripe and tart. Eat the same day for best flavour.
Lots of large blackberry bushes along the lake filled with fruit. Most berries were still green but the first few were ripe on June 10th
The park charges you to park in their lot unless you can walk or bike there.
