🔍 When is it ripe?
Berries fully coloured and slightly soft. Stem where it joins the bunch turns woody and brown. Seeds easily visible inside. Sweet throughout when fully ripe — taste from different parts of the cluster as they ripen unevenly. Grapes do not continue ripening after harvest.
About half way down the walled foot path, on the right is a grape vine that overhangs the stone wall.
On the opposite side are apple and pear trees that overhang, but it's a well used path and they're more visible and easier to grab so I would't count on them hanging around for long after they're ripe.
