🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red to purple-black when fully ripe. Falls naturally. Tart-sweet flavour. Spread cloth below and shake. Stains permanently.
On the edge of the walking path, easy to find when the tree is ripe because there will be mulberries all over the path under the tree. The tree may be difficult to reach the branches depending on height.
