🔍 When is it ripe?
Fully yellow with no green remaining; skin slightly glossy and gives a little when squeezed. Heavy for its size indicates juiciness. Unlike most fruit, lemons can hang on the tree for months once ripe without deteriorating.
Overgrown lemon tree in a neighbor's yard which occasionally drops fruit onto the sidewalk. *Note that they have a security camera on the tree, so please don't pick from the tree itself!
