Deep red to purple-black when fully ripe. Falls naturally. Tart-sweet flavour. Spread cloth below and shake. Stains permanently.
several mulberry trees clumped together, very tasty fruit that starts off red and turns black when ripe. Best tasting fruits fall off the tree readily by shaking the branch. If you pick them off the branches they are sour.
